Based my review from wearing Brands like (Keen, Timberland & Red Wings) / True to the size ... I wear a (10) in those particular brands and this Maven shoe was pretty close to the same exact fit using there provided (thin) sole insert. However, I have really bad feet and there is no way I can use their provided thin soles insert. I use custom Soles and work soles which are thicker. I like a snug fit, but if you plan to go with a thicker sole. Some may need to go up a 1/2 size to give you some more room. They still feel good thou and are supper light weight. They feel almost as good as my Asics running shoes. They are stretchy and form to your foot well. I do have a few Cons thou.. 1st=They are so squeaky (noise) when you walk. I work in a load environment so no big deal for me. My wife however does not and this wouldn't suite her. 2nd = I work around machinery and these shoes for some reason allows me to be static shocked all the time. I can wear my other brands and I have no issues. The sole material itself must be a little different. Overall I still plan on buying another pair even thou I get shocked some and I already know the shoe material want hold up in my work environment long. After 12 hours on concrete.. My feet are happy..
